Caroline enjoys working in multi-ethnic groups and gaining more knowledge about and from different cultures. She finds her most passionate and creative self when she is helping others, especially in remote Pacific communities.

Professional Experience

As the Senior Project Manager for PIHF, Caroline is tasked with identifying deserving projects and steering the right resources to Board-approved projects throughout the coverage area of the Foundation. She is the key contact person for the Foundation, reporting directly to the Board of Trustees and overseeing the Human Resources aspects of the PIHF Management Team.

Caroline currently works as a Project Specialist for the Pacific Resources for Education & Learning (PREL), based on Yap proper. Here she works with people living with disabilities and actively participates in workshops for special education programs in deserving communities, both off and on island.

Additionally, she is involved with EWC, where she conducts the Women’s Action Plan, including peer labs
learning.

External Appointments

Caroline carried various roles within the International Organization for Migration (IOM) for over six years, increasing awareness in Micronesian communities on issues such as Human Trafficking, Migration issues, Climate Change Adaptation and Disaster Preparedness & Response.

Based in Pohnpei, the main island of FSM, she coordinated with traditional leaders, government, community leaders, school principals for outreach and school lessons.

Education

Caroline graduated from the College of Micronesia in 2006 with an Associate Degree in Liberal Arts.
