Danilo is an international professional who spent his formative years living in Southeast Asia and was recently based in the Western Balkans; a culturally diverse and strategically important region. He is an expert in three statement financial modeling and valuation and has covered businesses of all sizes including startups, Small Medium Enterprises and public listed companies ranging in size from micro- to large capitalization.

In addition, Danilo has covered a wide variety of industries across the globe with a particular focus on the international oil and gas, banking and consumer goods space. Besides pure financial modeling, Danilo focuses on the strengths of particular qualitative factors when formulating investment cases. Danilo has also served as a judge and mentor in startup pitching sessions. 

Danilo is an advocate of lifelong learning, viewing education as a lifetime pursuit and the key to economic success as well as personal, social, and cultural development. He continually strives to give back to his community, listening actively to identify opportunities with a view of building strong, authentic relationships to instigate growth, humility and curiosity.

Professional Experience

Danilo is an investor with a private long-only equities portfolio that is not open to outside investment.

For the Pacific Ocean region in general and the Pacific Islands Heritage foundation in particular, Danilo is in a position to advise the board of trustees should they require third-party, nonpartisan insight into any financial projects or endeavors they undertake. This will tend to revolve around microfinance policy, strategic planning and project finance modeling.

Education

Danilo holds an M.Sc. in Management with Finance from the University of Bath in the United Kingdom, preceded by a B.A. in Liberal Arts & Sciences from the University of Maastricht in the Netherlands.
